Company History
2000
- Global Electrotech is established in June 2000 as a partnership between Martelli Holdings Pty Ltd and Gardiner Holdings Pty Ltd.
2001
- WA Police Complex Project (Cadcom) is secured.
2002
- 918 Hay St project is completed, the company’s first multi million dollar high rise project in the Perth CBD.
2003
- Global Electrotech moves to its current premises in Osborne Park.
- Global Electrotech forms as a company.
2004
- 2004 saw the formation of the Service & Maintenance Department, with the company now servicing several large metropolitan clients.
2005
- Global Electrotech secures its first large resource project, a design and construct package for the fire and gas detection systems on the Burrup Fertiliser Plant, Dampier.
2006
- Building Security & Management Services (BSMS) is merged into Global Electrotech and the Security division of the business begins to secure large commercial and industrial contracts.
- Perth Seawater Desalination Plant project is completed.
2007
- Global Electrotech completes the Kogan Creek Power Station Project, Chinchilla, Qld, the southern hemispheres largest single unit power station.
2008
- Karratha operations commence, closely followed by Port Hedland.
2009
- Global Electrotech becomes the WA distributor for the FSI AFFF Foamguard system and the Vehicle Suppression Division commences.
2010
- Kimberly Metals Group project commences with Global Electrotech overseeing the construction of the accommodation units in Guandong, China.
2011
- Both Dally and Kangi FMG camp projects are secured for Pindan totalling $12M.
- Global becomes a certified Cardax Channel Partner.
2012
- FMG’s Rail Camp 25A project is completed for Decmil in a record 14 weeks.
- Our first large Rio Tinto project, the infrastructure buildings for Marandoo Phase 2.
- Global Electrotech wins the WA Defence Force Fire Services maintenance contract.
